Grand Theft Auto Meets Robocop

This is a pretty sweet new invention (given that my own car was once stolen): A robotic eye attached to the top of police cars in LA can read all the license plates of cars all around them, even while driving, going up to 75 mph! It then automatically checks all the plates against a database to check if they're stolen, and alerts the officers in the car when a match is found! In one night alone, it recovered 7 stolen cars, without the officers having to do anything but pull over the identified car!
